'Twenty four' in the Bible
And all the oxen for the sacrifice of peace-offerings [was] twenty-four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he-goats sixty, the he-lambs a year old sixty. This was the dedication of the altar after it was anointed.

The sixth [captain] for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite. And in his division were twenty-four thousand.
The seventh [captain] for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the sons of Ephraim. And in his division were twenty-four thousand.
The eighth [captain] for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites. And in his division were twenty-four thousand.
The ninth [captain] for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjamites. And in his division were twenty-four thousand.
The tenth [captain] for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahites. And in his division were twenty-four thousand.
The eleventh [captain] for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the sons of Ephraim. And in his division were twenty-four thousand.
The twelfth [captain] for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel. And in his division were twenty-four thousand.
And around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and upon the thrones were sitting twenty-four elders clothed in white garments, and golden crowns upon their heads.
the twenty-four elders would fall down before him who sits on the throne, and would worship him who lives into the ages of the ages, and would cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
And when he took the book, the four beings and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp and golden bowls containing incense, which are the prayers of the sanctified.
And the twenty-four elders who sit before the throne of God, on their thrones, fell upon their faces and worshiped God,
And the twenty-four elders and the four beings fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying, Truly! Praise Lord!
